Hill & Vine came to us with a vision for the outdoor side of the restaurant and the freedom to build it right. Everything that went in was designed and built for this site — the grading underneath, the stonework, the custom steel, the fencing, and native planting chosen for this part of Texas. One complete outdoor space, built as a single piece of work.
WHY THIS ONE MATTERS TO US
We have been building outdoors since 1980. Hill and Vine is the project that put us on the map in Fredericksburg.
It started the way the best ones do. A client with a real vision, an architect in Plan B Group who could hold it, and a build team that was there to do it right. Nothing here came off a shelf. The steel was cut and welded for this site. The stone was chosen for this site. The planting was selected for this part of Texas, not for a catalog. This is the job where we became a full in-house custom design-build company, and we have built that way on every project since.
It is also one of our favorite places in Fredericksburg, and the people behind it are our friends. We bring our families here. This is a great place to see our work and enjoy an amazing experience. Come for coffee in the morning, or lunch, or dinner. Walk the property and look at the work up close. Then sit down and stay a while for the food, the drinks, and the hospitality.
